“The erratic and frenzied lovechild of Joyride and Raph Lauren (of Jackie Onassis fame), The Meeting Tree deliver the most exciting sounds to emerge from Redfern since Anthony Mundine’s rap career. Formed after a sold-out national tour as members of the One Day clique, both men needed a new artistic outlet, and a new revenue stream for expensive watches and unnecessary Versace accessories.”

Both the branding and collateral had to reflect this home-grown larrikinism, and the challenge laid in designing something that didn’t look designed. The logo symbolises the tree which grows equidistant from the two group member’s houses, and resemblance to a waving hand greeting signifies a place of togetherness, friendship and collaboration.
